What is a Podiatrist?
A podiatrist is a medical professional qualified in treating all conditions affecting the feet, legs and lower limbs. They carry out biomechanical assessments which involves a full body analysis to determine the root of a problem and how to treat it, which may involve orthotics (insoles).
They diagnose and treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis , heel spur syndrome, hip and knee pain.
They also carry out chiropody treatments such as cutting toenails, removing corns, verrucas and hard skin.
Biomechanical Examinations
As well as treating various conditions, Joan Marsh Podiatry can carry out biomechanical examinations of your feet and supply insoles to ensure that you are looking after your feet in everyday life.
